Three North Clean offers lawn cutting across Calgary — mowing, trimming around beds and fixtures, edging along walks and driveways, and a blow-down of clippings from hard surfaces before we leave. One-time cuts and recurring weekly or bi-weekly schedules are both available through the growing season.

For clients already on a recurring house cleaning schedule with us, it's straightforward to line the yard up on the same rhythm so the inside and outside of the property get looked after together.

What's Involved

• Mowing: All accessible turf, front and back, at a height appropriate for the season
• Trimming: Around garden beds, trees, fences, playsets, and any fixtures the mower can't reach
• Edging: Clean lines along sidewalks, driveways, and pathways
• Cleanup: Clippings blown off hard surfaces so nothing gets tracked inside
• Clippings: Mulched back into the lawn by default, or bagged and hauled away on request

How Our Pricing Works

Lawn cutting is priced by how much grass there is to mow, not by the hour. We measure cuttable turf rather than lot size, since a 50×100 ft Calgary lot is 5,000 sq ft of land but usually closer to 2,000 sq ft of actual lawn once the house, driveway, and deck are taken out.

A one-time cut costs more per visit than the same lawn on a schedule, and that's not a gimmick — a standalone trip carries all of its own drive time, and a lawn nobody has touched in three weeks takes more passes than one we cut last Tuesday. Weekly works out roughly a third cheaper per cut, bi-weekly roughly a fifth.

These are the prices we actually charge, not a headline rate for the smallest lot we could find. If you've shopped lawn care before you've probably seen a low number advertised and then watched it climb once someone looked at your yard. The point of quoting from your photos is that the number you see already accounts for your corner lot, your slope, and your overgrown back yard.

When It Costs More

We'd rather tell you this upfront than argue about it in your driveway:

• Overgrown first cut. Past about five inches, grass can't come down in one pass without damaging the turf. Expect $40–$80 on top of a standard lot rate, or hourly pricing if it's badly gone. Booking early in spring avoids this.
• Slopes and terraces. Anything too steep for a mower gets push-mowed or trimmed by hand, which takes noticeably longer.
• Narrow gate access. If our standard equipment won't fit through to the back, the back yard gets push-mowed instead.
• Bagging clippings. We mulch in place by default. Bagging and hauling away adds time and disposal cost.
• Heavy trimming. A yard with many beds, trees, and playsets is more trimming than mowing, and trimming is the slow part.
• Pet waste. A yard that needs clearing before it can be mowed safely is quoted with that included — just mention it so we come prepared.

Anything visible in your photos gets flagged alongside your estimate, so surprises get raised before you book rather than after we arrive.
